nubia NaviX Ultra is the first smartphone managed by AI: it will have top-of-the-line specifications

During the WAIC 2026 event in Shanghai, ZTE unveiled a device that aims to become a new paradigm in the mobile sector. nubia Navix Ultra is the first smartphone in the world with an integrated AI agent and advanced artificial intelligence features.

A unique phone in its own right, although many technical details are currently missing. While waiting to learn more officially, an insider reveals part of the specifications and yes, we will be dealing with a true flagship – with top-of-the-line hardware.

The main feature of NaviX Ultra is its operation: the device is designed to be managed without the classic use of apps, replaced entirely by an integrated AI agent called Doubao. Instead of clicking icons on the screen and opening applications, everything works via voice commands and a conversational interface with the assistant.

To activate it, simply press the orange button along the shell or call it by voice. Unlike traditional assistants, the NaviX Ultra AI agent is deeply integrated into the operating system: it can navigate menus autonomously, fill out forms and perform actions across different applications, all without any manual intervention by the user.

The smartphone will be available in four colors (black, pink, white and blue), but for the moment nubia has not revealed anything else.

Fortunately, a well-known Chinese insider comes to our aid: in a post shared on the Asian social network Weibo, the leaker has previewed various details of the specs – which promises to be quite impressive.

The front of nubia NaviX Ultra is occupied by a large flat screen of 6.78″ diagonal, resolution 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. There is a small hole for the selfie camera while the bezels appear well optimized on all four sides.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5: we are talking about Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC, the chipset that powers almost all of the top-of-the-line devices of the latest generation. For the battery, rumors point to a capacious unit of 7,100 mAh with 80W fast charging.

The triple main camera would be led by a 50 MP sensor (accompanied by an ultra-wide and a telephoto), and the same would apply to the selfie camera.
