Huawei is testing its 10,000 mAh Battery Phone

For several months there has been frequent talk about the next-generation Battery Phones: thanks to the introduction of silicon-carbon batteries, things have changed radically. This technology enables colossal capacity units, but without impacting the final dimensions.

The result is a slew of 10,000 mAh smartphones and Huawei could soon join as well. Its beast would be in testing and now, a new leak reveals some details more about this mysterious device.

At the moment the absolute leader of the category is Honor: the brand has already rolled out a myriad of Battery Phone da 10,000 mAh, between mid-range (Power 2 and Win Turbo) and even flagship devices (Win). However at the moment they are limited to the Chinese market – and the same goes for vivo Y600 Pro, boasting 10,200 mAh.

Internationally we find Realme, with the models P4 Power and Narzo Power. The number of Battery Phones da 10.000 mAh is destined to grow further: Xiaomi, OPPO, Nubia are working on their respective solutions, and the same goes for Huawei.

According to the latest rumors from the insider Digital Chat Station, it would be a mid-range model equipped with a chipset from the Kirin 8 series (perhaps the Kirin 8020) and featuring a large display of 6.84″ diagonally with 1.5K resolution. The camera setup would rely on a 50 MP main sensor, but for now no further details have emerged.

Enjoy Series or Nova?

At the moment we still do not know whether this will be a smartphone belonging to an unreleased series. However there are two hypotheses online: the Battery Phone da 10.000 mAh could be part of the Enjoy 90 lineup.

The latest Enjoy 90 Pro Max debuted with a 6.84″ display, a Kirin 8000 chip and a massive 8,500 mAh battery. Consequently the unreleased device could easily be part of the family.

The second hypothesis concerns the alleged Huawei Nova 16 SE: the Chinese house would be at work on an unreleased SE model equipped with a multispectral sensor and an affordable price. The device da 10,000 mAh could be part of the Nova 16 series, but to date there are no concrete clues.
