Redmi Note 17 with Snapdragon: Geekbench confirmation arrives

With the confirmation of the Redmi Note 17 series release date and the publication of the first official images, Pandora’s Box has been opened. The consequence of this is that rumors will surge wildly before the debut, and the first hint arrives from Geekbench.

The base model has appeared on the benchmark platform, with the very first results, but above all with a confirmation regarding the chipset that we will find on board.

The smartphone has appeared with the code 2607DRA18C, already known thanks to certifications in the past weeks and associated precisely with the “small” of the Note series. The device scored 1,027 points in the single-core test and 3,002 points in multi-core, with 12 GB of RAM and Android 16 (thus with HyperOS 3).

The most important detail concerns the chipset: the characteristics align with previous rumors, which see the device powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4.

We are talking about an octa-core solution launched last October, built with a 4 nm process by Samsung and equipped with a configuration of 4 Cortex-A78 cores at 2,4 GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores at 1,8 GHz; the SoC offers a GPU Adreno 710 and represents a slight step forward compared to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, present on Redmi Note 15 5G cineseche su quello presentato in Italia.

It doesn’t blow you away, but it proves to be a fairly solid base model. The higher-end Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500, while there are still no certainties for the flagship model, the much-talked-about Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.

The latter should be the real surprise of the range, with its 10,000 mAh battery and a 200 MP camera. The appointment is set for July 14 in China, so only a few days remain until the launch event. In the meantime Xiaomi has already shown the look of the series with the official images, along with some videos in which the durability of the Pro version is tested the durability of the Pro version.
