The first months of the year have seen Amazfit enrich its lineup of premium devices, with an eye on runners and users looking for a robust sports watch. However its affordable range has been lacking in novelty for too long, and Amazfit Bit Max debuts just at the right moment: the new entry-level model for the Zepp wearables lineup grows bigger, with plenty of top features (for sport and health) and a price that stays below the psychological threshold of €100.

More than a year after the Bip 6 model, the series welcomes a novelty characterized by a larger display, premium materials and plenty of autonomy.
Amazfit Bit Max continues to offer a square-form display, but now the AMOLED panel moves to 2.07-inch with peak brightness boosted (from 2,000 nits on the predecessor to a maximum of 3,000 nits). All of this translates into more display space, in any lighting condition.
More space also means more battery and better autonomy: the watch can last up to 20 days with typical use, and up to 40 hours with continuous GPS use. The new Bip family model integrates an internal storage up to 4 GB, to store offline maps directly on the watch (they can be downloaded for free from the Zepp app).
The wearable includes a library of workouts with pre-set programs while Zepp Coach can generate personalized training plans, adapting to the user’s performance and recovery. It is also possible to import structured training plans from TrainingPeaks, Runna and Intervals.icu, in addition to automatically syncing activities with Strava.
