Sony has announced a live streaming event scheduled for tomorrow, May 19, at 6:00 PM (Italian time). The event will be entirely focused on the famous and acclaimed line of headphones WH-1000X flagship, long a benchmark for acoustic isolation and high fidelity.

Although only a year has passed since the commercial debut of the WH-1000XM6, current information suggests that the presentation will not concern a direct successor, opening the door to an unexpected commercial strategy.

To mark this strong distinction, reports anticipate the introduction of a completely new commercial designation: the product should sit in a new series called ColleXion.

Supplier rumors highlight the adoption of a particularly refined design featuring extensive use of leather (presumably synthetic), marking a strong aesthetic departure from the polycarbonates used in devices of previous generations.
