Germany and the UK Amazon accidentally published their respective pages dedicated to the Sony Xperia 1 VIII. They have since been removed, evidence that the publication was a mistake, yet the information has already circulated on the web. The flagship is expected to debut on the next 26 June, a timeframe that seems credible given the leaks, suggesting a launch soon.
Sony Xperia 1 VIII spotted on Amazon at an insane price: here’s how much it could cost and the release date

The big scoop arrives with the supposed price: the Sony Xperia 1 VIII has been listed at €1,868.9 in Germany and £1,728 for the UK version, bundled with a pair of Sony WH1000XM6 headphones. Clearly we are looking at a crazy price, which to call over the edge would be an understatement.
It seems more plausible that this is a placeholder value, awaiting the official list price. Perhaps it is better not to take it as a reliable indicator; remember that the current Xperia 1 VII arrived in Europe at €1,499 for the 12/256 GB version alone.
The new Sony flagship is expected to be the last flagship with a headphone jack, a real rarity for premium phones. In the meantime, several render images have also surfaced, showing a change of look. The Xperia 1 VIII will set aside the usual style for a new square camera module.
On board there would be a 6.5″ Full HD OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, in a chassis measuring 161.9 x 74.4 x 8.58 mm, available in Graphite Black, Iolite Silver and Garnet Red.
