Silicon-carbon batteries have changed the face of the latest smartphones: today, the extra-large solutions are no longer limited to rugged phones, thanks to this technology that enables high-density cells to be implemented without increasing the device’s thickness.
Someone is still hesitant to adopt the latest trend, while the major Chinese manufacturers have plunged into it. Yet none of them has shown the enthusiasm of Honor, a brand that quickly tackled the 10,000 mAh format and is now at work on yet another step forward, aiming for the 11,000 mAh of battery!
Honor is finalizing work on an 11,000 mAh Battery Phone: what do we know about this mysterious device

As we write, Honor is the most prolific company when it comes to high-end Battery Phones. The Chinese house has managed to rewrite the rules of the mid-range and top tier with Power 2 and WIN, two beasts of 10,000 mAh.
In the first case we’re talking about a mid-to-high-end device designed to offer stellar autonomy. The big surprise was the WIN model, which has leveraged what was learned while working on the Power series: it is, in fact, a Gaming Phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 6.83″ display at 185 Hz and even a cooling fan.
The result is obvious to all: it’s possible to have smartphones equipped with colossal batteries, with a slim profile and flagship specs. The next step from Honor is coming in the coming months: according to insider Digital Chat Station the company has started production of a new battery with nominal capacity of 10,690 mAh and a typical value of 11,000 mAh.
However the phone that will carry it is not mentioned: the future Honor Power 3 is expected in December, but leaks talk of a mini power plant of as much as 15,000 mAh.
At this point it could be an unreleased device but as usual the final word always rests with the brand. While we wait to learn more, we can’t help but wonder whether these colossal Battery Phones will find space here as well or if they’ll remain an exclusive of the Chinese market.
