Not only the X300 Ultra: which vivo smartphones support the new ZEISS lenses

Together with the new Camera Phone, the Chinese manufacturer has also announced the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, i.e., the professional telephoto lens to mount on the vivo X300 Ultra. Now the company clarifies that both this model and the teleconverter G2 (intended for the vivo X300s) are not exclusive to the latest phones but can also be used with other models of the brand — clearly staying within the X-series.

Indeed, expanding the use of these gadgets makes a lot of sense: we are talking about lenses that have to be purchased separately, unless you opt for the dedicated kit. As for Italian users, note that the vivo X300 Ultra is in pre-order precisely in the full version containing the entire photography package (it will be available from April 16).

As for the compatibility table, it is very useful information, especially for those who own one of vivo’s previous Camera Phones (both Global and import versions).

The Zeiss G2 Ultra (400 mm) teleconverter is exclusive to the vivo X300 Ultra, but the company has confirmed it is working to extend compatibility to the X300 Pro and X200 Ultra as well. The accessory is sold for about €252 at the exchange rate (1,999 yuan), so expanding its reach is a smart move.

Then there is the Zeiss G2 (200 mm) model, which in China is designed to accompany vivo X300s: the teleconverter costs about €126 at the exchange rate (999 yuan) and is compatible with X300 Ultra, X300 Pro, X300 and X200 Ultra.

Finally, good news for the earlier 2.35X teleconverter launched alongside the former flagship vivo X200 Ultra: in this case the lens is fully compatible with all models in the X300 family.
