The latest generation A-series is approaching completion: after the debut of the models A17, A37 and A57, in the coming months the release of Samsung Galaxy A27 is expected. The missing brother should arrive on its own and in the meantime previews are not lacking. The device has appeared in the Geekbench database, with the first clues about the specifications.
Samsung Galaxy A27 revealed by Geekbench: what can we expect from the next mid-range in the series

The smartphone does not carry the commercial name, but the code SM-A276B: however we know from previous certifications that it would be the next Galaxy A27. Based on what emerged from the benchmarks, the mid-range would be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3: this is a 5G chipset not exactly new (launched in September 2024), built at 4 nm and with a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz.
In reality it isn’t a new SoC for Samsung since it also appears on board of the previous Galaxy A36 (so we can expect similar performance). From the benchmarks there is the presence of 6 GB of RAM while on the software side we find Android 16, almost certainly with One UI 8.5.
