Xiaomi Mijia Smart Head Massage Comb: features, price and release of the massage brush
As the name suggests, the accessory is a hair brush that combines personal care with warm relaxation. The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Head Massage Comb features an ergonomic design, a comfortable grip, and a weight of 280 grams.
The brush mimics the movements of a human hand through 78 rounded and flexible synthetic bristles: the massage system is based on circular movements to recreate the pressure and movement of the fingers through the hair.
There are several modes depending on the massage and heating intensity; the autonomy comes from a built-in 2,000 mAh battery rechargeable via USB-C and capable of delivering up to nine days of use, with daily 10-minute sessions (low intensity).
The heating is due to a graphene structure: besides serving as a massage tool, it helps distribute hair serum to improve absorption. The same brush also features a 3 ml reservoir for serum dispensing.
The device is IPX7-rated and features smart functionality: simply connect it to the Xiaomi Home app for management via smartphone (modes, intensity, duration, and customized programs).
The price of Xiaomi Mijia Smart Head Massage Comb is 599 yuan, about 72€ at the current exchange rate. As is often the case with brand products, it’s a China-only novelty; however Xiaomi is showing greater openness toward Western markets—in terms of appliances and lifestyle products.
Currently in Italy we have several massage guns while for more specialized gadgets (such as neck and eye massagers) it is necessary to rely on AliExpress for imported Xiaomi or YouPin products.
