Several months have passed since the debut of vivo V60 Lite 4G (the launch of the V70 series is around the corner), but the Chinese company has decided to double down with a new version. The budget phone returns to the spotlight with one change: it is the first phone equipped with the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2.

The chipset was announced in December with modest specs and the only connectivity LTE: built on 6 nm by TSMC, it features an octa-core architecture with a maximum frequency of 2.9 GHz (but uses the old A73 and A53 cores).
As for vivo V60 Lite, the 5G version was launched in Italy last October; there is also a 4G model with Snapdragon 685 but it never reached our shores. This very model is the subject of the Chinese brand’s revision, which sees the new SoC on board.
The rest of the specifications remains the same: the display is a 6.77″ AMOLED unit at 120 Hz, there is an under-display fingerprint reader, a 50 MP Sony camera and a capacious 6,500 mAh battery, with 90W fast charging.
At the moment this variant has been launched only in Panama and there are still no price details.
