Lei Jun’s company has revealed the presentation date of Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: the event will take place on the eve of the Barcelona MWC, so there’s hardly any time left to discover all the new features coming to Italy.

In addition to the standard device there will also be the Camera Phone of this generation, Xiaomi 17 Ultra – also in this case the Global version would have a smaller battery. The first teaser confirms that the Starry Green color will also arrive, featuring a green chassis with a glittery finish.

The question remains about Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, i.e., the variant with a rotating ring that acts as a physical zoom and the iconic red badge of the German camera brand. The device has been spotted on Geekbench but it remains to be seen if it will debut in Italy.

All the Xiaomi news coming soon

The Chinese house’s innovations don’t stop here: as far as we know beyond the flagship models there will also be other additions to the brand’s ecosystem. As usual there would be Xiaomi Pad 8 and 8 Pro, the new flagship tablets; along with them also the low-cost earbuds Redmi Buds 8 Active, but perhaps these will arrive at a different time.

Wearables take the spotlight with Xiaomi Watch 5, which would mark the return of Wear OS for the company’s watch lineup. Finally a device long awaited arrives, namely Xiaomi Tag – the AirTag rival, at a bargain price. The event would also feature green mobility with the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 series.
