Galaxy A37 and A57 Draw Closer: What the EU Energy Label Reveals

Recently the New Year Unpacked event was held, with the launch of the new top-of-the-line devices in the Galaxy S26. However this is only the beginning for the brand’s smartphone lineup: in the near future there are also Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57, now just a step away from release.

After the flagship models, the Asian manufacturer is also gearing up to bolster the mid-range segment, and now the EU energy label provides an official overview with a few details.

Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57 Have Received the EU Energy Label: All Official Details

For those who don’t know, the EPREL certification is mandatory in Europe starting from last June and requires smartphone and tablet manufacturers to spell out some important information. It covers battery, charging cycles, repairability and durability, all essential details for the user.

Turning to Samsung’s new smartphones, both Galaxy A37 and A57 appeared in the body’s database with the respective energy certification (using model numbers SM-A376B/DS and SM-A576B/DS).

The phones have obtained an A rating for battery life: around 53 hours of use on a single charge for the A37 and up to 52 hours for the bigger sibling. Technically the autonomy should be about a day and a half when performing a mix of calls, web browsing, video playback and standby.

Both pack batteries of 4,905 mAh, so with a nominal value of 5,000 mAh, and charging up to 45W. The rating IP68 against dust and water is present, a step forward compared to predecessors (IP67). Regarding drop resistance, the smartphones differ in rating (A for A57 and B for A37) while repairability remains at level C for both.

The two Galaxy devices are certified for 1,200 recharge cycles before the battery capacity falls below 80%. The official launch has not yet been confirmed by Samsung, but it’s now clear: Galaxy A37 and A57 will debut in March, and it’s only a matter of time.
