Among the innovations announced at the MWC in Barcelona, the Chinese brand has also unveiled the upcoming nubia Air Pro. As the name suggests, it is a smartphone designed to compete in the ultra-thin segment: its rival is clearly the Cupertino-branded model, but compared to the latter nubia’s phone offers a richer camera setup and more besides.
nubia Air Pro will challenge iPhone Air and the other ultra-thin devices: here’s what we can expect in terms of design and specifications

The budget rival to the iPhone Air arrives with a similar look: on the back there is a horizontally oriented capsule-shaped camera module while the chassis thickness is under 6 mm. For reference, Apple’s phone measures 5.64 mm, while the previous nubia Air stops at 5.9 mm.
Clearly we are dealing with an affordable device: the ultra-thin form factor is offered at around €300 and will arrive in Europe soon. Made of metal and glass, nubia Air Pro presents a more refined look than its predecessor.

Despite the slim body, under the hood we find a battery of 5,000 mAh with 45W fast charging. The technical specs improve significantly, moving from a Unisoc chipset to MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100—with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The camera system is based on a 108 MP sensor with a dedicated depth-of-field module; on the front there is a 32 MP selfie camera. nubia Air Pro is IP69K rated (dust and water resistant) while on the software side Android 16 is present, via the proprietary MyOS interface.
