The compact flagship of the Chinese company has returned and this time it really means business. OnePlus 15T improves in every aspect and the result is a top-tier device in a compact form factor, with solid specs, an attractive price and three very pleasant color options. It’s a pity that for now it’s confined to the Chinese market, but a Global variant isn’t ruled out — at least for India.
OnePlus 15T: everything there is to know about technical specifications, price and release of the new compact flagship

The design of OnePlus 15T does not stray far from that of its predecessor: like the OnePlus 13T, the new arrival features a dual-camera capsule housed in a Squircle module and flanked by the LED flash. The Chinese company has decided to opt for aesthetic continuity since the same style is adopted also by the models 15 and 15R.
The compact smartphone improves in almost every aspect compared to its predecessor: from dust and water resistance (from IP65 now up to IP69K), to the camera department, to the battery and charging.
The display remains an AMOLED unit of 6.32″ diagonal, but now it features the same refresh rate as the flagship model (165 Hz) and a high brightness that makes the panel readable even under intense sunlight (3,500 nits).

The heart of the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 from Qualcomm, so OnePlus did not skimp on this aspect either. The battery rises to 7,500 mAh — with silicon-carbon technology — while fast charging climbs from 80W to a full 100W. This time the company added support for 50W wireless charging: the novelty is accompanied by a special case (not included, to be purchased separately) that improves cooling and enables magnetic charging and the possibility of attaching accessories.

Moving to the high-end, we find a 50 MP sensor with OIS supported by a telephoto lens: Hasselblad optimizations are missing, but this time the camera gains periscope zoom. The selfie camera remains a 16 MP unit, more than enough given the improvements across the device.
The new compact flagship from OnePlus was launched in China from about €539 at current exchange (4,299 yuan for the 12/256 GB version), up to a maximum of 16 GB/1 TB offered at €715 (i.e., 5,699 yuan). OnePlus 15T has debuted in its homeland but it isn’t to be ruled out that it could also arrive in a Global version like OnePlus 15s (as happened last year with 13T and 13s).
Anyway, given past precedents, it’s highly likely it won’t arrive in Europe and Italy — at most it could be purchased via import stores from third parties.
