After the previews in recent days, DJI has finally unveiled the new Avata 360. Paired with DJI Goggles and the DJI Motion Controller, the latest addition to the acclaimed Avata series offers an immersive 360° flight experience with all the thrill of FPV. Creators can also use the DJI remote controllers to capture a complete 360° view in a single flight, which can subsequently be reworked from any perspective, turning a single shot into multiple creative possibilities.
DJI Avata 360 is official in Italy: features, price and release of the brand’s first 360° FPV drone

Avata 360 offers two different lenses that can be swapped smoothly. The 360° lens uses 1-inch class sensors that capture 360° images with rich detail for HDR video at 8K/60 fps and 120 MP photos. With 2.4 µm pixels and a wide dynamic range, lights and shadows are captured with maximum sharpness. Both videos and photos can be exported directly or reworked in post-production. On the other hand, the Single Lens mode allows creators to shoot in the classic Avata style in 4K/60fps.
The new DJI-branded drone is equipped with the O4+ video transmission system, with stable and clear live feed for smoother, more immersive flights. Its anti-interference capabilities allow high-definition, high-frame-rate transmission of 1080p/60 fps and support a range up to 20 km.
On the endurance side, the device offers up to 23 minutes of flight and includes several standard safety features, including omnidirectional obstacle sensing in low-light conditionsand integrated propeller guards. If damaged, the camera lens can be easily replaced with the replacement lens kit with tools for DJI Avata 360 (sold separately).
Avata 360 can be piloted with the DJI remote controllers (RC 2, RC-N2, RC-N3) for precise camera movements, while DJI Goggles and the DJI Motion Controller offer an even more immersive flight experience with 360° imaging at 1080p/60 fps.

The drone is designed to offer a top-tier experience in aerial content creation: a single shot captured with the device’s 360° imaging can be transformed into multiple creations in post-production via the DJI Fly and DJI Studio apps.
The ActiveTrack 360° feature automatically selects the optimal tracking mode: for example, the Standard mode maintains a constant distance and altitude from the subject; Cycling mode reacts more quickly to turns and keeps the subject in-frame even in complex environments.
Additionally the FPV Mode can be applied in post-production and also allows beginner pilots to add a natural roll effect to Spotlight Free, ActiveTrack 360°, and manual flights, to create dynamic, high-speed FPV-style shots.
