The international versions of Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are around the corner, and it seems there will be no need to wait for the Barcelona MWC. The two Global flagship models are expected to be announced before the end of the month, and while we wait to learn more, render images have surfaced — revealing the colors available in Western markets.
Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra in unofficial renders: here are the leak images of the Global versions

The design and specifications of Xiaomi 17 are already known: the device was launched in China last September alongside the Pro and Pro Max siblings, which will not arrive in Global version. A pity given their peculiarity, namely a mini rear display to use for taking selfies with the main camera and equipped with various features.
Turning back to our Global device, the unofficial renders reveal the three color options blue, green and black. There will be no changes in the specifications except for the battery, which will go from 7,000 mAh on the Chinese model to 6,330 mAh.

Also Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been spotted in early renders: the Camera Phone was announced in China in December, and in this case the Global images are useful to discover the colorways. The flagship will be available in black, white and green, the latter shade having a glossy effect.
Unfortunately, here too we can expect a battery cut, which will drop from the 6,800 mAh of the original variant to 6,000 mAh.
Regarding the release, according to a well-known insider (often reliable) Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra Global will be announced during an event in February. The brand’s news will surely be at the MWC 2026 (from 2 to 5 March) given the Chinese company’s presence at the Catalan fair.
The leaker refers to the day 28 February and states that in some selected markets there will also be a Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition. This is a special edition with a Leica M-inspired look, including the iconic badge, and the addition of a rotating ring around the camera module, which serves as a physical zoom.
Finally the price leaks: both the base model and the Ultra variant should not see price increases compared to the current models. For now it remains only a rumor and nothing more, but it is nonetheless reassuring given the overall situation caused by memory shortages.
