The September 7 will mark a turning point for Lei Jun’s company, with the debut of Xiaomi 18 Fold, the flagship of absolute novelties: the first with the proprietary XRING O3 SoC and the brand’s first wide-foldable, as well as the first smartphone with HyperOS 4.
Awaiting the official debut, the company has begun releasing details of the device with images, display specifications, and now also the camera sample shots.
Xiaomi 18 Fold gets to grips with the first photographic samples
The camera system of the new foldable flagship has already been revealed: it features a main sensor of 200 MP with a 1/1.56″ sensor size, along with a periscope telephoto 50 MP with 3.5x optical zoom and an ultra-wide lens. All three sensors offer Leica optics, a testament to a partnership that remains solid.
