Amazon has launched in Italy a new feature designed for Prime members, called “Add to Delivery”, which allows adding new products to a delivery already in progress after completing the initial order, without having to wait for a separate shipment.

The feature is designed, as explained by Amazon, to make it even easier to buy what you need whenever you think of it. In practice, after identifying a eligible product, simply tap the blue “Add to Delivery” button and confirm the purchase: the item is added immediately to the order already in progress. There is also the “Cancel order” option, to remove the product in case you change your mind right after adding.
The feature is reserved for Prime customers and is available via the Amazon Shopping app and on Amazon.it from mobile devices. The rollout in Italy began today, September 21, with a progressive rollout toward a growing number of customers in the coming weeks.
Among the product categories already supported are kitchen essentials, pet food, electronics, clothing and books, as well as other eligible categories not listed in detail by Amazon. The feature requires a Prime subscription, available from €4.99 per month or €49.90 per year, with 30 days free trial for eligible new customers.
