Redmi Note 17 Pro Max: Geekbench reveals the Global specifications

Xiaomi’s sub-brand unveiled the new Note lineup in July, starting from China. The standard model has just been announced in India, and it’s only a matter of time before its release in Europe.

Awaiting official news, leaks abound and the picture of what awaits us is now crystal clear. The latest piece comes from Geekbench, with some “confirmations” about the imminent Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.

The flagship model, still unseen in China but coming both domestically and in international markets, has been spotted on Geekbench with the code 2609FRA74G. This indicates that it is the Global variant (thanks to the final G), i.e. the one that will also appear in Europe and Italy.

The model number present on the benchmark platform is the same that emerged in some certifications, with the commercial name. So we know precisely that this is Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.

The smartphone features 8 GB of RAM and Android 16, while the chipset is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 from Qualcomm – confirming rumors that have been circulating for a while. The results are 924 and 2,923 points, respectively in single-core and multi-core.

Launch window

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max debut, but clues are now plentiful. Among them even the European energy label, with details on battery and durability.

On the mid-range there will be a colossal silicon-carbon battery of 10,000 mAh, unfortunately reserved for China. For Europe a “castrated” but still impressive solution is planned since we are talking about 9,210 mAh.

Everything seems to point to a possible launch in September, but clearly the final word rests with Lei Jun’s company. In the meantime you can take a look at the leak specs of the entire series, along with possible prices for Europe.
