Xiaomi Smart Band 11 spotted again: are we finally there?

One of the most important milestones when talking about Xiaomi isn’t the manufacturer’s flagship devices, but a small and common accessory. The renowned fitness tracker from Lei Jun’s company is one of the gadgets most appreciated by the public and with every generation it is rewarded with overwhelming success (both domestically and globally).

The time for Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is approaching more and more: certifications and details are increasing, albeit at snail’s pace, and the latest news focus on the battery (always one of the most important aspects when talking about wearables).

Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has been spotted in a new certification, this time with battery details

We left off in May, with the first certifications dedicated to the device; now new ones are surfacing, both for the standard version and for the variant equipped with an NFC chip. The two incarnations of the tracker carry the codes M2616B1 and M2617B1, but unfortunately technical details are still missing.

A small addition comes from another document, in which the battery capacity is reported: it mentions 233 mAh, the same value as Xiaomi Smart Band 10. At this point we can expect the same autonomy up to 21 days (with regular use), unless software optimizations have increased performance.

The launch therefore becomes more tangible even if the leaker Smart Pikachu casts a slight shadow on the release period. The current model was announced last June but it seems that for Xiaomi Smart Band 11 we’ll have to wait a bit longer; the debut is expected in the second half of the year, but nothing else is specified.

Not much remains but to wait and, in the meantime, remember that in recent months it was announced Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro. The higher-end variant moves away from the capsule design and leans toward a smartwatch-like style.
