In May, Google announced the new Fitbit Air, a display-free fitness tracker: a tiny and lightweight device, with long battery life and advanced sensors to monitor health and training details. The bracelet was born as Google’s direct response to the success of WHOOP, but there are also Chinese alternatives such as Amazfit Helio Strap.
The latest novelty is called Rogbid Loop Air and again we are dealing with a tracker with compact dimensions and a minimalist look, but offered at a price certainly more affordable than rivals.

Just like the other models mentioned above, the new Loop Air presents itself as a fitness tracker without a display, characterized by the sole strap that integrates the sensors. The device is made with a body in aluminum alloy and polycarbonate, weighing 23 grams and with a thickness of 8.8 mm.
With no screen, user interactions are kept to a minimum: you wear it, it must be connected to your smartphone, there’s an LED indicator and motors for haptic vibration and nothing else. The core of the experience lies in the sensors: we’re talking about a wristband that functions as a heart rate monitor, capable of continuously monitoring the heart rate and the blood oxygen levels (SpO2).
There is also a skin temperature sensor on board, useful for monitoring variations in skin temperature throughout the day and night. However, Rogbid’s new wearable includes an addition that is missing on both the Google Fitbit model and the Amazfit model.
The tracker includes an ECG to perform an electrocardiogram by touching a lateral electrode. However, the company specifies that this solution should not be interpreted as a medical device, but as a tool to be used solely for reference purposes.
The rest of the features are similar to those of similar devices: the bracelet monitors physical activity with various sports modes, records steps, distance and calories, and GPS is present to record workout routes. The case is water resistant (5 ATM) while the company promises up to 7 days of battery life with typical use and up to 30 days in standby.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, it connects to your smartphone to display all the data collected, sleep analysis, health summaries, and workouts. The Rogbid Loop Air price is $59.9, a more affordable figure than the €100 needed for rivals; it is available in the official store with a fabric strap and in various color options.
