Honor hits the mark: the new mid-range exceeds 10,000 mAh!

The Chinese manufacturer is gearing up to launch a new mid-range, and in the meantime has chosen to push ahead with its oversized batteries. The upcoming Honor X80 Pro Max is shaping up to be a very special device: the company has broken the 10,000 mAh barrier, and some leaked photos seem to prove it.

In short, the future of the mobile sector is increasingly geared toward giant batteries, and sooner or later the European market will have to adapt.

At the moment the new model in the X series remains in China: the debut is expected toward the end of June, featuring a mighty 11,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Honor has on hand a couple of 10,000 mAh beasts such as Power 2, the flagship of the Win series and the recent addition Win Turbo.

In a matter of months, the Chinese company has shown that Battery Phones of all kinds can be made: flagships with stellar specs, gaming phones and mid-range.

The next novelty from the manufacturer will be the Honor X80 Pro Max: based on what has emerged from previous leaks and some recent photos, the mid-range will be equipped with a silicon-carbon unit of considerable caliber — without sacrificing style and handling.

The phone features a two-tone faux leather finish, while its overall dimensions remain those of a classic smartphone. The camera setup is entrusted to a 50 MP sensor, in a circular module; the images also show the front, with a large 1.5K display featuring a centered punch-hole and ultra-thin bezels.

According to what has emerged so far, the screen would measure 6.8″ diagonally, while at the helm would be a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. Anyway, if you think 11,000 mAh is the top, brace yourself: the future Honor Power 3 is expected with a higher capacity. The more cautious talk about up to 12,000 mAh while the wildest leaks hint at a mini power plant, with as much as 15,000 mAh!
