Google has begun rolling out Wear OS 7 for compatible Pixel Watch devices. Throughout this year, the platform will be further enriched thanks to the integration of Gemini Intelligence, bringing generative AI to the center of the interface for an even more personalized experience.
This will enable creating custom widgets using natural language (Create My Widget) and managing complex automations, such as booking a workout station at the gym. Thanks to data analysis from services like Gmail and search history, the smartwatch will be able to provide proactive, context-aware suggestions tailored to the user’s specific usage.
On the performance front, Wear OS 7 introduces optimizations that deliver up to a 10% improvement in battery life over the previous version.
The update is being rolled out starting today for eligible Pixel Watches, while advanced AI-related features will be released gradually in the coming months.
