We’re back to talking about luxury Apple products, thanks to a new addition to Caviar‘s line. This time the manufacturer has decided to launch something a bit more affordable (so they say): not a full smartphone, but a magnetic cover designed to embellish iPhone 17 Pro Max. A small addition in exchange for completely transforming the look of the flagship, and inside a version there is even a fragment of a Tyrannosaurus Rex hidden.

For those who don’t know it, Caviar is a company specializing in luxury customizations: the company turns Apple devices into true pieces of jewelry, aimed at an audience that doesn’t spare expenses (really). Premium materials, precious metals but also extraordinary mementos, such as a piece of Steve Jobs’ dolce vita and even a fragment of meteorite.
This time the brand wanted to tease seasoned paleontologists or Jurassic Park fans with the model Relict. It is part of the Genesis series, a range of rear covers that magnetically attach to the back of any iPhone 17 Pro Max.
This is the flagship solution, priced at $4,490 and only 7 units produced. The reason is enclosed in the triangular element at the top: inside a small piece of Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth has been inlaid; the rest of the cover is aeronautical-grade titanium, while at the center rises a portion clad in crocodile leather with Himalaya finishing.
Users looking for something more sober and affordable can opt for one of the other models available, all limited to 99 pieces.

- Stimulus – $1,919 – the middle option, in titanium with a PVD coating and crocodile leather, with orange-enamel accents;
- Vector – $1,919 – as above but with black enamel details;
- Orion – $2,060 – made of titanium with a gold-colored PVD coating, blue crocodile leather and blue enamel details.
In short, there’s nothing left but to choose your favorite accessory: each cover ships with premium gift packaging, a little extra for those aiming for a truly unforgettable gift — especially for the wallet.
