With the latest flagship generation, Redmi took an innovative approach by sidelining the usual Ultra version (the most powerful) and introducing two models with the Max branding. Despite these changes, it seems Xiaomi isn’t looking to overturn everything: an insider and a certification reveal the existence of Redmi K90 Ultra. In the end, it seems the flagship killer is coming!
Redmi K90 Ultra is coming: first clues on Xiaomi’s next flagship killer

At the moment the Xiaomi offshoot series includes three models: last October the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max were announced, respectively with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. These are devices of considerable importance for us in the West as they form the basis for our POCO F8 Pro and F8 Ultra.
Last April, it was Redmi K90 Max with Dimensity 9500, a 165 Hz display and gaming-phone ambitions. In this case, part of the specs will be used for the Xiaomi 17T Pro u2013 as is tradition for the T-series.
People thought the series had concluded and that no Ultra model would be launched. Instead, the latest rumors change the picture: a device labeled M332BF has been certified by the Chinese agency 3C with support for wired fast charging at 100W.

According to the insider Digital Chat Station, it would be the next flagship killer Redmi K90 Ultra but at the moment there are no precise details. It is very likely to be powered by the Dimensity 9500, although we will have to wait for further developments.
Finally, it seems that this model will remain a Chinese exclusive and there will be no Global counterpart (but it remains to be seen, as things at Xiaomi can change rapidly).
