Xiaomi 17T will be in good company: all the latest news coming

The 28 May the launch event for the Xiaomi 17T series will take place and now we have confirmation that the two flagships won’t arrive alone. The Chinese company plans to expand its ecosystem with many new additions, both for wearables and the audio side. Here are all the coming news, at least those confirmed directly by the Global official site (later reported by the Italian one)!

Not only smartphones: the Global official site confirms the Xiaomi news coming on May 28

The ideal starting point is Xiaomi Watch S5 (46 mm), already announced in China in March: the watch continues to present itself as the proprietary alternative to Wear OS, while focusing on autonomy and style. Compared to the model equipped with Google’s system, in this case the device arrives with HyperoS 3, just as happened with the previous models of the S family.

It features a 1.48″ AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, a refined design with a stainless steel chassis, satellite positioning and up to 21 days of autonomy. There is both a microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calls and the NFC chip for payments from the wrist.

The second news is Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro, freshly launched in China. The most-loved band returns in its premium version, with a look closer to that of a classic smartwatch. The 1.74″ AMOLED display becomes rectangular, in a slim body 9.7 mm thick; brightness of 2,000 nits makes it perfectly visible even under intense light, while autonomy up to 21 days (light use) is a godsend to not always be plugged into the charger.

In addition to satellite positioning there is also the NFC edition for payments: it remains to be seen if in Italy we will have both models (so fingers crossed).

Xiaomi Buds 6 and more

The Global store has also confirmed the presence of the new Xiaomi Buds 6, characterized by an ergonomic semi in-ear design, 11 mm drivers with triple gold-plated magnets and Harman Audio EFX tuning.

Among other features we find surround sound with 360° head tracking, support for Google Find Hub and Apple’s Find, a wide range of gestures for controls (including pressing the stem) and up to 35 hours of autonomy, with the case included (about 6 hours considering only the earbuds).

Finally the Global portal teased the release of Xiaomi Sound Play, a new colorful Bluetooth speaker, the life of the party. The speaker has an output power of 18W and features dual lighting (soft light at the bottom and 3D ambient light at the top) synchronized to the rhythm.

Clearly this is a portable solution, with a compact design, plenty of autonomy (up to 14 hours) and IP68 water and dust resistance.
