vivo X500 Pro: no 200 MP but will still have an ‘Ultra’ camera

There are still several months to go until the launch of the next-generation flagship devices, but there have already been quite a few rumors about the devices in the X series. The latest rumors from insider Digital Chat Station anticipate the camera system of vivo X500 Pro and leave no room for doubt: the real Camera Phone of the family will be the Pro Max model, and yet the Pro version won’t be any less.

vivo X500 Pro: here’s how the camera system will change

Usually, for vivo the last months of the year are devoted to a pair of flagship devices, but this year the situation will be more crowded. From certifications, the existence of vivo X500 Pro Max (complete with a commercial name) has emerged, and it is almost certain that it will be the star of the series.

The rumors so far talk about a Camera Phone with all the trappings, with the same technology LOFIC used by Xiaomi 17 Ultra, a 200 MP periscopic telephoto lens and a multispectral sensor for color fidelity. All of this is enriched by the usual Zeiss optics, given the collaboration between the two brands.

The insider Digital Chat Station has revealed the camera system of vivo X500 Pro, which appears different from that of the current X300 Pro. The flagship would boast the same main sensor of 50 MP with dimensions of 1/1,28″ as the X500 Pro Max model, with full support for the LOFIC technology.

There would also be a 50 MP ultra-wide angle, accompanied by a telephoto periscopic IMX06H from 64 MP with a 1/2″ size and 3x optical zoom. In short, despite the absence of a 200 MP sensor (present on the X300 Pro), we are nonetheless looking at a top-tier camera system that nudges toward Ultra Camera Phones.

The heart of the next Vivo flagship? The new Dimensity 9600, a top-end solution built at 2 nm. For its debut, the month of October is targeted, barring a twist and an earlier launch in September.
