REDMAGIC 11S Pro official: all the news and there’s already a release date for Italy!

The new gaming beast from REDMAGIC has returned in a renewed hardware-focused guise. The news is aimed at users who crave jaw-dropping performance and a platform constantly updated to the latest available solution. Regarding the launch in China, the Chinese company announced both REDMAGIC 11S Pro and the 11S Pro+, while in Italy a single model will arrive that represents the sum of both.

The aesthetics of REDMAGIC 11S Pro/Pro+ do not differ from that of the standard flagship REDMAGIC 11 Pro: a few small details on the back change, but the spirit remains the same. We find the same futuristic design, sharp lines and straight edges, and a large screen without a punch-hole or notch — thanks to the selfie camera integrated under the display. Along the right edge we have the rear touch buttons, together with the usual buttons (power, volume and a slider).

The big novelty is the chipset: it is the first non-Samsung flagship equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition. The SoC is already known under the name For Galaxy, since it is the same processor seen on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The temporary exclusivity of the Asian tech giant has ended and now more smartphones with this solution will arrive.

The main cores of the CPU Oryon in the enhanced variant reach a frequency of 4.74 GHz, a 2.8% increase over the 4.61 GHz of the standard chipset. In addition there are improvements for the graphics part and for the NPU.

The flagship continues to offer a fluorinated liquid cooling system, a advanced solution typically used in AI servers. All of this works in combination with a 24,000 rpm fan, a large vapor chamber and a portion with liquid metal.

Both phones are IPX8-rated against dust and water; the Pro+ variant is equipped with fluorinated liquid cooling technology. The Global version (the one for Italy) features the same system even though it arrives in a single incarnation named REDMAGIC 11S Pro.

Moving on to the rest of the specs we have an AMOLED BOE X10 LTPO 6.85″ 1.5K display (2,688 × 1,216 pixels) with a 144 Hz refresh rate, touch sampling up to 3,000 Hz, and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel houses underneath both a 16 MP selfie camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

The camera system does not aim for the stars, but remains solid with a triple camera setup of 50 + 12 + 2 MP consisting of a main sensor with OIS, an ultra-wide angle and a macro lens.

What changes are the battery and charging: Chinese Pro and Pro+ mount 8,000 mAh and 7,500 mAh, respectively with 80W and 120W charging. The larger model adds support for 80W wireless charging.

The Global model, coming to Italy, will be a mid-range version with a 7,500 mAh battery, along with wired and wireless 80W fast charging.

The price in China starts from 5,499 yuan, i.e. about 693€ at the current exchange rate; prices in Italy will be announced at launch. We will update the dedicated REDMAGIC 11S Pro article as soon as it becomes available in our latitudes, and we already know that it won’t be long!
