A mid-range device with an extra-large battery and a feature designed to take perfect selfies: Realme 16T has been officially confirmed. The device has a launch date (for now only in India) while the images reveal both the design and some aspects of the specifications.
Realme 16T, official launch date: here are the first confirmations on design and features

The presentation of Realme 16T is set for May 22 while the look of the mid-range remains the one teased by leaks. The design is a mix between the style of Realme 16 Pro/Pro+ with the addition of the mini mirror for selfies of Realme 16 standard.
The smartphone is equipped with a squared camera module, housing both the sensors and a ring LED flash. Inside this, there is a miniaturized mirror, useful for looking at yourself while taking a selfie using the main camera.
Regarding the specs, the company has confirmed a massive 8,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 45W and the promise of up to 3 days of battery life. In addition, reverse charging will also be present, so you can use the phone as a power bank when needed.
Despite the extra-large battery, Realme 16T will have a slim body 8.8 mm thick. Finally, the company has confirmed the display of 6.8″ and the colors Aurora Green, Starlight Red and Starlight Black. Previously the device appeared on Geekbench with the SoC Dimensity 6300.
The debut of Realme 16x is also awaited, but at the moment there are no official confirmations yet. We remind that the company has only launched the two Pro models in Italy, but it’s not to be excluded that it could enrich the local lineup with additional additions.
