The mid-range lineup from the Chinese manufacturer shows no signs of slowing down, and after the first leaks about Realme 16T, another addition has emerged, Realme 16x. The two devices appear close to launch, and already plenty of clues have surfaced online: here’s what we know, while we await official confirmation and to see if they will also reach the European market.
Regarding Realme 16T, the smartphone has previously appeared on Geekbench: based on what emerged from the benchmarks, the device appears to be powered by the Dimensity 6300 — a chipset older than its predecessor, equipped with the 6400 version.
Meanwhile an insider has posted a promotional leak image, which would reveal the design and the Aurora Green and Starlight Black color options. The phone looks very different from Realme 15T: both share a square camera module, but the new model has a style more in line with Realme 16 Pro/Pro+.
Additionally, the module includes a ring LED flash surrounding a mini selfie mirror, a feature seen on the Realme 16 base.
Moving on to Realme 16x, the device has received various certifications, both under the commercial name and the code RMX5270. Unfortunately there are no hints about the specs, but leaks reveal configurations of 4/128 GB, 6/128 GB and 6/256 GB. Additionally, the phone should come in at least two colors, Endurance Brown and Glory White.
The previous Realme 15x (launched last October) features a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Dimensity 6300, all supported by a 7,000 mAh battery with 60W charging.
We can expect similar features, to occupy the entry-level price tier of the new Number series.
