Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be the Battery Phone of the lineup, with a top camera

Many months remain until the release of Xiaomi’s new flagship series, and yet rumors continue unabated and the overall profile of the various models is already mapped out. However, more rumors may always arrive that can change things: regarding the latest news, it seems that Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will not only be a prototype Camera Phone, but also a premium Battery Phone.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will have a battery of truly colossal size: here are the latest rumors about the flagship model of the series

In reality, the current Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is the battery benchmark of the entire series: the device debuted with 7,500 mAh, compared to 6,300 mAh of 17 Pro and 7,000 mAh of the base model (the latter debuted globally with 6,330 mAh). Things will become even more interesting with Xiaomi 18 Pro Max: the new model would feature a battery unit of as much as 8,500 mAh.

Obviously, it will be a battery with silicon-carbon technology, in order to keep a slim profile. Nothing new for charging: according to Digital Chat Station, the flagship will reintroduce a wired solution of 100W accompanied by wireless charging support.

All of this will be powered by a 2 nm SoC, namely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. This year Qualcomm is expected to launch two versions of its famous flagship chipset, with the Pro variant equipped with LPDDR6 RAM support.

Another important aspect will be the camera setup: rumors speak of the introduction of a 200 MP sensor with dimensions of 1/1.28″ (produced by SmartSens), accompanied by an updated 200 MP periscope telephoto and a 50 MP ultra-wide.
