Vivo has officially announced the availability in Italy of the new mid-range smartphone lineup, which includes two different models: vivo V70 and vivo V70 FE.

The launch of sales will be accompanied by a promotional campaign named “Photographers Wanted“, a concept born to invite people to use the devices’ digital tools for independent content creation.

Vivo V70 and V70 FE official: specifications, prices and availability

The flagship model of the lineup, vivo V70, stands out for a rear photography module engineered together with the German company ZEISS.

This module consists of a Super Telephoto 50 MP telephoto lens with a 1/1,95 inch sensor and optical stabilization, a ZEISS OIS 50 MP main camera with a 1/1,56 inch sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera.

On the front of the device there is a 50 MP camera with AF, designed for selfies and group photos.

Inside the chassis, made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, is housed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The memory configuration includes 8 GB of RAM, virtually expandable by up to an additional 8 GB, and internal storage of 256 or 512 GB.

The display is an OLED panel of 6.59 inches with 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and very slim bezels measuring 1.25 millimeters. Under the screen sits an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

The Vivo V70 weighs 187 or 194 grams depending on finish and is protected against water and dust ingress with IP68 and IP69 certifications.

Power is managed by a 6500 mAh battery compatible with the 90 W FlashCharge fast charging.

Vivo V70 FE arrives with slightly larger dimensions and different specs, including an AMOLED display of 6.83 inches and a total weight of 200 grams.

The main rear camera relies on a 200 MP sensor with a 1/1.56 inch format, optical stabilization certified CIPA 4.0 and digital zoom capability up to 30x. The camera setup is completed by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 32 MP front camera.

The performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, supported by the same memory configurations as the V70. Autonomy is ensured by a 7000 mAh battery, also capable of 90 W charging.

The FE variant also carries IP68 and IP69 environmental resistance certifications, in addition to an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance rating for impact resistance.

Both devices in the V70 series run the OriginOS 6 operating system, based on Android 16. The company guarantees a support plan for these smartphones that includes 6 years of security updates.

The user interface introduces Origin Island, a dynamic element in the upper area of the panel for managing notifications, and several automated features to ease file transfer, such as One-Tap Transfer and vivo Office Kit. There is also a feature called Private Space for protecting personal information.

The system integrates multiple AI-powered photography tools, such as the AI Stage Mode for long-distance shots in challenging lighting conditions, AI Sky Change and AI Retouch for quick image correction. For everyday textual operations and support there are features like AI Creation, AI Subtitles and the voice assistant Google Gemini.
