In recent days the brand’s Indian division has started teasing fans about the launch of a new Global tablet. Now OnePlus Pad 4 has been officially revealed: there is a launch date (not yet for Italy) and we can take a broad look at both the design and the specifications, some of which are confirmed by the company itself.
The launch of OnePlus Pad 4 is scheduled for the 30 April: at the moment the launch is planned in India but given the past it is very likely the tablet will also find space here (perhaps as early as May or June, like the current OnePlus Pad 3). Knowing the brand’s strategy, a launch also in China cannot be ruled out, almost certainly as Pad 3 Pro – Global and Chinese versions have a mismatched numbering.
In addition to the date, the company has decided to offer an almost complete overview: the aesthetics are similar to those of the previous chapter, with a metal chassis and a large 13.2″ diagonal display; the rear houses a camera module containing the camera and the LED flash.
Regarding the panel, OnePlus Pad 4 will continue to have a high refresh rate (144 Hz) while the whole device will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The company headed by Pete Lau is now a guarantee in this regard: flagship tablets are powerhouses, ideal for productivity and gaming.
The battery will improve from the current 12,140 mAh to 13,380 mAh, always with 80W SUPERVOOC charging support. Details about the cameras are missing but overall it is practically complete already. The appointment is set for April 30 and the new tablet might not arrive alone: rumors about OnePlus Watch 4 have intensified in the last hours, so a simultaneous launch cannot be ruled out.
