No MediaTek for CMF Phone 3 Pro: will switch to a Snapdragon

About a year since the debut of its predecessor, here come the first rumors about the new chapter of the series. CMF Phone 3 Pro is on its way, and we are confident that it will maintain the iconic style that characterizes the range. In the meantime, attention turns to the technical specifications, with a radical change of direction: the switch from MediaTek to Qualcomm for the heart of the smartphone.

CMF Phone 3 Pro will have the same chipset as Redmi Note 15 Pro+, according to leaks: here are all the details

As we write, there are no images yet, so we don’t yet know what the final design will look like. However, according to the source, the overall look won’t change even if the third camera sensor is repositioned (but it seems nothing earth-shattering).

The current Phone 2 Pro is characterized by a removable and replaceable back cover; there is even a magnetic adapter for the chassis, useful for attaching accessories (sold separately). We don’t yet know if these features will return in the successor, so stay tuned for updates.

As for the technical side, CMF Phone 3 Pro will mark the switch to Qualcomm: after using the Dimensity 7300 Pro, this year the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. It is the same SoC that powers Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and if you want a taste of its performance you can take a look at our review.

On the battery side there will be a 5,090 mAh typical capacity battery: the nominal capacity should be around 5,400/5,500 mAh. According to the leaks, wired charging will also improve, going from the current 33W to 45W of power. The display will be an AMOLED panel with Full HD resolution and a central hole for the selfie camera.

Nothing has not yet confirmed the release date of the CMF Phone 2 Pro: according to leaks, the debut should take place by the end of April or during the month of May.
