Three years have passed since Huawei’s first experiment, and now the Chinese tech giant has decided to go for a second time, at least in its homeland. The new Huawei Watch Buds 2 is a hybrid smartwatch that incorporates two gadgets in one: a watch that hides a pair of Bluetooth earbuds inside. The company has shown the accessory’s design, confirming also the presentation date.
Huawei Watch Buds 2 confirmed three years after the first chapter: there’s already a release date

The debut of Huawei Watch Buds 2 is set for April 20 in China, during the mega event dedicated to the series Pura 90 Pro and the wide-format foldable, Pura X Max. We still don’t know which of these novelties will make their way to Italy but, as far as the watch is concerned, the predecessor has also been brought to our latitudes (you can take a look at our review).
The new incarnation of the 2-in-1 smartwatch features a more refined look than the first chapter: the display remains circular, framed by a metallic chassis and accompanied by a leather strap (there will probably be more versions).
The screen lifts to reveal a small compartment: inside this there is space for two Bluetooth earbuds with an octagonal cylindrical shape. The aesthetics of the earbuds are identical to those of the previous generation, but we should expect some technical improvements.
Unfortunately at the moment there are no details on specifications and other features. The first Huawei Watch Buds debuted with a 1.43″ AMOLED display and a pair of earbuds with adaptive ear-canal identification technology (which makes them interchangeable between the right and left ear) and triple adaptive EQ. Featuring over 80 sports modes, up to 3 days of battery life and wireless charging.
