In recent months Honor announced that it had halted the development of compact tablets (under 9″) due to a combination of user preferences and the inevitable memory shortage crisis. Done and dusted: in the recent period the manufacturer has announced several solutions in China and globally and now also Honor Pad 10 Pro and Pad X10 Pro, again with large displays but in a slim chassis.
The flagship model is the Honor Pad 10 Pro: the device arrives with a metal chassis only 6.1 mm thick but housing an extra-large 10,100 mAh battery and a 11.5″ display with a 2.8K resolution. The 144 Hz refresh rate makes it ideal for smooth viewing and the experience is further enhanced by IMAX Enhanced, HDR Vivid and Zreal certifications.
There is also a variant with an anti-glare screen, which eliminates 98% of reflections due to ambient light. It also supports the Honor Magic Pencil 4s (capable of detecting 4,096 pressure levels) and various AI features, both for drawing and for note synthesis, audio transcription and more.
The tablet is powered by the Dimensity 8350 “Ultimate” SoC and arrives in a single configuration of 12/256 GB, at a price of around €339 at the exchange rate (2,700 yuan). The Chinese company has already brought to Italy Honor Pad 10: it remains to be seen whether the Pro variant will also find space on our shores.
Honor Pad X10 Pro presents a few trade-offs, but overall offers a solid experience. The device features an 11.5″ diagonal display, here with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The thickness remains compact, with a 6.77 mm chassis, but the battery drops to 8,300 mAh. The chipset is the evergreen Snapdragon 685 while on the software side there is Android 15 (with MagicOS 9) instead of the latest OS version.
The starting price is around €200 at the exchange rate (1,599 yuan) but for now the debut has happened only in China. In recent days the manufacturer announced Honor Pad X10: again this one is currently available only in the Asian market, but given past trends it is not to be ruled out that it will arrive in Italy soon.
