The fever surrounding the Max models has now involved everyone: since Xiaomi launched its 17 Pro Max (following Cupertino) and brought this designation to the mid-range as well, chaos ensues. All the major brands are churning out renamed versions or additions to historic series: in this case we are dealing with Honor Magic 9 Pro Max, which should transform the iconic duo into a trio.
Honor Magic 9 Pro Max: the fever of the Max hits everyone, even Honor’s Camera Phones

For Westerners, in general, the flagship Magic range arrives in Italy with only the Pro model, but the addition of yet another device opens the door to possible different scenarios. In fact, for some time there had been rumors of a new device, and initially attention was on a possible Ultra variant, in the perfect style of Chinese brands.
However plans could have changed, and now the hypothesis of the Honor Magic 9 Pro Max is gaining ground. Clearly the flagship would continue the tradition of a Camera Phone, indeed it would have exclusive features compared to the other two members of the family.
The flagship would feature a dual 200 MP camera, that is, the main sensor and the periscope telephoto. In addition, leaks refer to improved image stabilization, particularly for videos. It seems that these very features would be the focus of the device, which would be able to record smoother footage and deliver high performance even in low light.
The latest updates seem in line withthe March rumors, where there was already talk of a pair of 200 MP sensors. Additionally we should also have the addition of LOFIC HDR technology, similar to what was seen with Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The Honor Magic 9 series would raise the stakes with larger batteries (8,000 and 9,000 mAh) while for the dimensions there are rumors of at least two phones measuring 6.36″ and 6.85″. The launch is expected to take place in October, so there’s still plenty of time to uncover new leak details!
