Recently the Chinese brand announced the new Honor 600 and 600 Pro, available both globally and in Italy, but with different batteries. The international model debuted with 7,000 mAh, compared to 6,400 mAh of the European variant.
Precisely the battery of the new smartphones is at the center of a decidedly unusual test, which pits the manufacturer’s capabilities against the iPhone 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26. But it’s not the phones that clash, rather… radio-controlled toy cars!
The battery of the Honor 600 outperforms the iPhone 17 Pro and Galaxy S26, but the endurance test is quite unusual
To perform this particular battery test, the Honor team mounted the units of the three smartphones – Honor 600, iPhone 17 Pro, and Galaxy S26 – on three cars. We are talking about a 7,000 mAh unit compared to the 4,252 mAh of the Cupertino device and the 4,300 mAh of the Samsung flagship. It is certainly an unusual test and above all it relies exclusively on battery performance, since it does not take into account the software side of the respective smartphones.
However, it was a rather different experiment and certainly a fresh take on competing among the various phone manufacturers.
Clearly the video doesn’t miss some jabs, especially towards the Apple model – the first to drain the entire battery during the race. We are waiting for more in-depth tests and, in the meantime, remember that the new Honor 600 and 600 Pro are already available for purchase in Italy.
