Lei Jun’s company has unexpectedly announced the debut in Italy of its new LTE budget phone. Redmi A7 Pro is an affordable device equipped with an immersive display and plenty of battery: let’s take a look at all the details on technical specifications, price, and availability in our region.
As anticipated above, the main feature of Redmi A7 Pro is certainly its display: it’s an LCD panel with a 6.9″ diagonal, with a waterdrop notch, but it makes up for it thanks to the high refresh rate at 120 Hz.
Despite its budget nature, the panel is designed for low blue light emission, reaches a peak brightness of 800 nits and is equipped with Wet Touch 2.0 technology – it works with wet fingers. Another key detail is the battery, a long-lasting 6,000 mAh unit, and the software also delivers some satisfaction.
The phone comes with HyperOS 3 and Google Gemini; the “Circle and Search” feature is also present and the new Xiaomi HyperIsland. The latter allows you to use the unattractive notch as an interactive space, with information and controls based on the app. For the chipset the device relies on Unisoc with a T7250 solution, while the camera setup is led by a 13 MP sensor.
The new budget Xiaomi has officially debuted in Italy via the official store: Redmi A7 Pro costs €129.90 for the 4/64 GB version and climbs to €149.90 for the 4/128 GB model. With the purchase of the phone you will receive 2 months of music for free with Spotify Premium.
