The Vivo flagship lineup is expanding with eye-catching new smartphones: after the two devices launched in the past months, it looks to the future with vivo X300 Max. The extra-large-format smartphone has not been announced or confirmed by the Chinese company, yet it was present (undisclosed) at the Barcelona tech fair.
The anticipation comes from Roland Quandt, an insider who has always been synonymous with reliability, present at the MWC in Barcelona together with the rest of the press. Roaming through the labyrinthine halls of the Catalan fair, a mysterious Vivo smartphone in armor pops up, a nameless device with a concealed design — and yet so familiar.
The phone’s identity has been partially revealed by its model number, visible in the settings. It is the device labeled V2548A, which has already appeared in various certifications and is associated with the Vivo X300 Max — a new addition for the brand’s flagship series.
The device features a large display with a punch hole and a circular camera module, housing a triple-sensor setup (including a periscopic telephoto). Based on the leaks so far, it should be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, driven by a 7,000 mAh battery with 90W charging.
For the photography department there would be a 200 MP main sensor, accompanied by an ultrawide and the already mentioned telephoto; the whole package would feature Zeiss optics, as is traditional for the lineup. The Max designation would come from the 6.78″ diagonal display, considerably larger than the 6.31″ of the Vivo X300 base.
