Unbeatable Samsung: World Leader in Televisions for the 20th Consecutive Year

Samsung has officially announced a historic milestone for the consumer electronics sector: for the twentieth consecutive year, the company confirms itself as the world leader in the TV market. This primacy, started in 2006, sees the brand maintain a position of absolute prominence with a global market share that in 2025 reached 29.1% according to the data from the research firm Omdia.

This achievement not only underscores the brand’s commercial strength but also highlights a constant ability to anticipate audience trends and drive the technological evolution of home entertainment for two uninterrupted decades.

Samsung’s strength emerges most clearly in the high-end segment, where the company holds a dominant share of 54.3% for models priced above $2,500. This success is the fruit of a strategy focused on diversification and superior image quality, thanks to established lines such as Neo QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle products.

The trust of consumers, as emphasized by the company’s leadership, has been built through a history of innovations that have redefined industry standards. The journey began in 2006 with the famous Bordeaux model, then moved through milestones such as the acceleration of LED TVs in 2009 and the introduction of the Smart TV in 2011, which transformed the television into a connected platform.

In the following years, Samsung learned to combine technology and design, turning the screen into a piece of furniture with iconic models such as The Serif and The Frame, the latter able to transform into a digital frame for artworks.
