Only a few days remain until the release of Redmi Note 15 SE, the Special Edition arriving in the Indian market in three elegant colors (one of which is crimson). The previous SE model was announced without changes under the hood, but in this case, Xiaomi has confirmed that we will have at least a couple of novelties.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G (Special Edition) won’t be the same: how camera and battery will change
Details come directly from official channels, so these aren’t rumors. Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will surface with a larger battery, but nothing colossal: compared to the 5,520 mAh of the standard version there will be a 5,800 mAh unit, still with 45W wired charging.
The other change concerns the camera: instead of a main sensor of 108 MP, the new arrival will have a 50 MP solution. Rather than relying on a Samsung ISOCELL we should have a Light Fusion 400 sensor, i.e., the same as on the Chinese Redmi Note 15 (Redmi Note 15 Chinese) (the models released in China and those Global often show some differences). We will probably find optical stabilization and the secondary 8 MP ultra-wide module again.
The rest of the specifications remain unchanged: the chipset will again be Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 while on the front we will have a wide 6,77″ AMOLED display with curved edges. Apart from the crimson color, two variants white and black will be introduced, with an elegant and refined design (especially the Frosted White model).
The launch is scheduled for April 2, currently only in India (but it is unlikely that this special edition will find space with us).
