After the rumors from the past few days, the Asian company has officially announced the debut of Realme P4 Lite 5G. This is an affordable phone, offered at a bargain price (for now only in India) but with a few niceties not to be underestimated given its category. Here are all the details while we wait to see if it will also arrive in our region (as has already happened with various models in the P series).

The new Realme budget is a rebrand of the C83 5G model, launched in some markets; it also shares many features with the C100 5G device, not yet official (at the time of writing) but teased by various European stores.
Returning to Realme P4 Lite 5G, the phone features a design very different from the variant P4 Lite 4G (launched in February): the front waterdrop notch remains but the rear changes its look completely with a trio of sensors with no housing (beside the LED flash). Two are purely aesthetic while the real camera is a 13 MP sensor.
Attention to aesthetics is evident from the back cover, in green or blue, featuring a mosaic-style. The budget phone is IP64 certified while powering it is the Dimensity 6300 SoC; the autonomy is entrusted to a 7,000 mAh unit with 15W charging and the possibility to use reverse charging (the phone can become a power bank when needed).
Realme P4 Lite 5G was launched in India starting from around €121 at the current exchange rate, in the base 4/64 GB variant. We are dealing with a balanced budget device, with 5G connectivity and a few perks (such as the large 6,8″ display with a 144 Hz refresh rate). Realme has brought to Italy both P3 5G and P3 Lite, so it remains to be seen which devices in the P4 lineup will arrive here.
