It has been very little time since the launch in Italy of the Realme 16 Pro series, but—as usual—rumors are circulating and often appear even well before the device’s actual release. The next Realme 17 Pro+ is expected in the second half of the year, and yet there are already discussions about the first details, particularly about its camera system.
The current flagship model of the range debuted with a noteworthy camera setup. We are talking about a mid-range device with camera-phone ambitions, given the package: a main sensor Samsung HP5 200 MP, an ultra-wide and a telephoto periscopic with 3.5x optical zoom.
The main and tele are equipped with optical stabilization while imaging is entrusted to the technology LumaColor, to improve lights and colors (with a focus on portraits).
It seems the winning team doesn’t change and this also applies to the Chinese brand: the next Realme 17 Pro+ should offer the same camera setup as the current version, at least according to Digital Chat Station. The insider does not explicitly name the phone but Chinese media are looking toward the future Realme.
The leaker mentions an excellent display and a design already finalized; the 200 MP HP5 sensor is mentioned and even the periscopic telephoto JN5 with 3.5x zoom. Only the production phase would be missing and then the device would be ready for market launch.
