The Chinese tech giant has added a new tablet to its product line, and once again it is a model designed to offer a high-level visual experience, thanks to the PaperMatte panel. Huawei MatePad 11.5 S (2026) is already available for purchase in Italy, with or without the keyboard included, and with a couple of benefits to take advantage of by April 7.
Featuring a sleek design — with a metal body and vibrant colors — the new MatePad presents itself as a tablet particularly suitable for portability. The device weighs 515 grams, in a chassis just 6.1 mm thick.
Featuring an 11.5″ display diagonal with 2.8K resolution, a variable refresh rate up to 144 Hz and a wide color gamut. As noted at the start, we are dealing with a PaperMatte display: the panel is bright and sharp, equipped with a nanometer-scale anti-reflective process that reduces surface reflections by 50%.
Low blue light emission is a godsend for the eyes while the e-book mode (color and grayscale) is particularly suited to book lovers. Finally, this type of screen offers a tactile feedback similar to paper, for a satisfying experience both to the touch and when writing with a pen.
Among other features we have a Kirin chipset, Huawei’s HarmonyOS, and 8,800 mAh of battery.
The new Huawei MatePad 11.5 S in the 2026 version debuts in Italy at a price of 369€, in the brand’s official store. As usual launch offers are available: until 7 April you can take advantage of a €30 discount voucher while, by the same date, with the purchase of the tablet you will receive 12 months of Huawei Care screen protection as a gift.
There is also the version with a US keyboard included, in this case at 469€ and in the two color options Space Gray or Green (still with 12/256 GB). If you do not see the box below correctly, try disabling AdBlock.
