Honor WIN: the return to the world of gaming laptops is official

Very soon after the initial rumors, the official confirmation arrives: the gaming laptop sector is about to welcome a new protagonist thanks to the debut of Honor WIN. After hinting at the production of hardware dedicated to gamers since the beginning of 2024, Honor has now confirmed that the new device will be launched during the month of April.

The announcement was accompanied by a promotional poster placing the laptop beside the Delta Force Fiery Professional League, underscoring a positioning clearly oriented toward the world of esports and professional competitions.

The technical specifications of Honor WIN promise to satisfy even the most demanding users, thanks to cutting-edge configurations designed to handle the most complex titles. According to rumors about the specs, the base model should mount a processor Intel Core i7-14650HX paired with a Nvidia RTX 5060, with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and SSD storage options up to 1TB.

For those who require even more extreme performance, a high-end variant is planned, equipped with the processor Ultra 9 290HX Plus and a RTX 5070 GPU.

From an aesthetic standpoint, Honor WIN will inherit the Hunter series design (dating back to 2020), offering a style that balances aggressiveness (typical of gaming products) and elegance. The illuminated Hunter logo is likely to return, but there is also the possibility that the company may aim for a new symbol.

The imminent arrival on the Chinese market of the new laptop represents an ambitious move by Honor, given the current situation (with the memory crisis). However, with the WIN flagship, the company has been able to offer something fresh and step out of its comfort zone, so the gaming laptop could hold surprises.
