Honor 600e spotted on Google Play Console: is the new series expanding?

On Google Play Console a new device from the Chinese brand has appeared. This is the first time we're hearing about the Honor 600e, in fact there has never been a device with a name like this in the company's Number series. What can we expect from this new addition? Will it arrive here as well? Let's try to shed some light precisely thanks to Google's certification.

Honor 600e certified by Google: what do we know about the new member of the mid-range family

The phone has been classified both with the commercial name and with the codes HNLNA-M1 and LNA-NX1. Google's database also provides an image — but only of the front part — and some technical details. The display design is characterized by a small pill-shaped punch-hole, housing the selfie camera.

Along the right edge there is space for the volume rocker and the power button, but nothing else about the look emerges. Honor 600e is powered by the SoC MT6858, i.e. the Dimensity 7100 by MediaTek, and it is paired with 12 GB of RAM. The display offers a 1.5K resolution and a density of 520 DPI.

All these clues point to an alternative version of Honor 600 Lite, a budget phone launched recently in Malaysia. There is not yet absolute certainty, but the similarities are evident, both in terms of design and specs. It remains to be seen where it will be marketed under the new name: perhaps in some markets the Lite label could be perceived negatively, hence the rebrand to 600e.
