Since the release of Android 12, the Mountain View company had made a decision that sparked a lot of discussion among users: unifying the Wi-Fi and mobile data controls into a single button called “Internet”.

This change effectively eliminated the possibility of managing the two connections separately from the dropdown menu. Now, almost five years after that design choice, the tech giant seems ready to backtrack, reintroducing distinct quick controls for the two essential functions.

Google admits it was wrong modifying Android’s quick settings
