The first beta version of Android 17 has surfaced on Google Pixel devices around mid-February, followed by a second release as well. As the weeks pass, several Chinese brands have joined the party, initiating the release of their respective beta software on the main flagship models (and beyond). Here are the smartphones that currently support the new version of the Android OS.
For Google, of course, Big G is playing at home: all Pixel devices from the sixth generation onward have already received the update. The company has already unveiled the official roadmap that leads to the stable version: the release is expected for June 2026 for Pixel smartphones and the publication of the AOSP source code.
In the meantime, other manufacturers are starting to test Android 17 Beta. In reality, the most prolific is the least expected, namely Motorola: the brand isn’t exactly on good terms with updates, yet it has decided to go full throttle with the new OS release. Below you’ll find the list of smartphones that have already received the beta.
Motorola
OnePlus
Oppo
Realme
